UPDATE: Dali Family
This year, we heard a calling to support the Dali Family – a refugee family in need – in finding refuge and a home in Canada. City of Refugee has agreed to be our SAHs (Sponsorship Agreement Holder) for the refugee sponsorship process. Please continue to pray for the government applications and the family's process in preparing all the information. Our hope is for the Dali family to arrive in summer 2020 (one year from now). We invite our congregation to be a part of helping to welcome the soon-to-be-newcomer family by joining our refugee settlement core team.
With the growing number of children in the Sunday worship at 10:30 AM, we are in need of 3 volunteers each week to serve with Rev. Khang, worship with the children and facilitate small group discussion. A sign-up sheet is on the back table. Please speak with Kathy Kim (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more info.
Are you interested in shaping the college ministry, blessing your fellow CM members and growing in your leadership development? We are looking for school-year leaders to serve. Speak with Daniel Lee or P. Angie for more info!
Are you looking for a way to serve during worship but be behind-the-scenes? We are looking for volunteers to help with the slide presentations during service. Training is included! Speak with Andrew Yang or Jason Kim for more details or to sign up.
Every Sunday, snacks and coffee are available at the back. Thank you to those who have already generously contributed. We are creating our new schedule for the season. Currently, all spots are open for the next few months. If you would like to sign up, there is a clipboard at the back table. Thank you!
Welcome people with a smile, hand-out bulletins, collect offering, help people to a seat. All the little things that make our Sundays go. Sign up with Elder Dae.
Home Groups is a great way to move into a community of faith. Following Jesus is always good, always worth it, but we all know it’s hard to do alone. We all need people to encourage us along in faith and people need you too! Home groups are regular gatherings of 6-12 people in locations around the city for 3 months, followed by a month break. Please contact Hamin Lee or Pastor Joe for more info.
