We begin our epic journey through the book of Revelation! Come join a small group and find your place among a history of Christ followers as we learn about our Christian hope.
Out of the Cold Season 7
This year, the dates of our OOTC season has been changed to Thursday evenings, January 31 to March 28, 2019. There are some great opportunities to get involved in the ministry beyond serving weekly. Speak with P. Angie or Alyssa Park to get involved:
VCC Organizing Team Member - As a core member of the OOTC ministry, you will take leadership in one aspect (kitchen, hospitality, registration/transportation, community engagement, finance, health clinic/activities, clothing bank).
MIOTC Fundraising with Mosaic Interfaith Out of the Cold - As a committee member, you will work with other community members to organize fundraising events to support the 10 faith communities involved with OOTC in the York Region.
Starting up in September
Joining a Home Group is a great way to move from coming-to-church towards the experience of belonging to a community of faith. They are gatherings of 6-12 people who will meet regularly in locations around the city for 3 month terms.
Journeying through life in community is a gift from God and an essential part of our faith experience. We learn, grow and are encouraged to keep living faithfully best in Christ-centred community. Sign up online at vccem.com/homegroups or contact Hamin Lee or Pastor Joe for more info. We ask all returning participants register online as well. If you’d like to join a group, you have options.
