Administrative Staff

Casual part-time, 10 hours/week

Job Description:

Assist pastors with administrative tasks including but not limited to:

  • Weekly creation of Sunday worship service slides and communication material (working with communications ministry)

  • Timely updating of website content

  • Maintenance of membership database on Breeze. Leveraging Breeze/database for church application (working with welcome and membership ministries) 

  • Provide support / coordination for church special events (baptism, communion, membership class, retreat, workshops)

  • Create ministry assets and support ministries

  • Responding and redirecting inquiries of church and ministries

  • All necessary meetings as required, including weekly meeting with pastoral staff

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably in a structured organization environment 

  • Works well in team setting, with initiative to accomplish tasks individually

  • Great communication and organization skills

  • Computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps required

  • Detail and project management oriented 

  • Previous experience with online applications such as Canva, SquareSpace, Church Management System (such as Breeze) an asset, but not required  

  • Eye and skill for design an asset

Term:

  • One year contract, revisit 3 months out from end of term

  • Remuneration: $1000/month - 10 hours/week

  • Hybrid Workplace; Sunday service attendance required
